Custom Pieces, Personal Details

This Brooklyn condo started with clean lines, good light, and a lot of blank space. The goal was to make it feel warmer, more functional, and more connected to the pieces the owner already loved.

  • I designed custom walnut pieces throughout the condo, including a credenza for record storage, floating shelves with hidden LED lighting, and an extra-tall king-size bed. Those pieces helped solve practical needs while giving the home more weight, warmth, and intention.

The finished space blends inherited family pieces, mid-century finds, bold color, and layered wood tones. It feels contemporary, but not cold; tailored, but still comfortable.

  • I work with skilled makers and artists to bring custom pieces to life, from furniture and built-ins to details that give a space authenticity

    • Custom walnut credenza designed for record storage, with dovetailed drawers

    • Custom walnut floating shelves with hidden under-shelf LED lighting

    • Custom extra-tall walnut king-size bed designed for the scale of the room

    • Teak armchair set sourced from Nicaragua.
